The Badè Project
The Badè Project is a collaborative effort of students and faculty at the Graduate
Theological Union (GTU) and UC Berkeley to make available in digital format the holdings of the
Badè Museum for study and teaching. We are also involved in preventative conservation of artifacts, photographs, archives and other valuable materials in the museum collection.
Past efforts made possible the three-dimension viewing of selected artifacts, silent dig site
films recounting the excavation of Tell en-Nasbeh in the 1930s, and an in-depth slide show featuring
objects from the museum collection and detailed descriptions of the site and its history.
Current projects are undergoing a concerted effort to fully catalog and enter the entire
collection into a centralized database that will be available to both local and regional researchers.
